The Greeks created the Olympic Games nearly 3,000 years ago. Early games had the pentathlon which involved five disciplines. The modern decathlon, adding 5 more sports, first appeared in the Olympics in 1912.
 
MYTIKAS, is named after the tallest peak on Mount Olympus, and brings together 15 events across an unprecedented 3 eSports arenas each offering athletes their own unique event formats and choice of competition.

The Games are defined by 3 event disciplines:

  • 8 Track – 2 Field – 5 Road events
  • 3 Combined events
    • Decathlon all 8 track plus the 2 Field events
    • Heptahlon both field + longest 4 track events
    • Pentahlon shortest 4 track + Long Jump

Events are:

  • By Gender
  • Podiums by 10 classes of Athelete (vELO based)
  • Completed using your smart bike or trainer
  • Hosted by arenas that can support

Format of the events will vary so check event descriptions

  • Introducing the FRR Fast Rapid Racing event style to complete the Track events in one session
  • Fastest time recorded wins the medals
  • Open events, no restriction on attempts
  • Events held in 3 eSports arenas separately resulted

What better way to experience the Games than by offering them across multiple arenas to gives riders maximum choice and opportunity to compete with and against familiar virtual faces

Battle it out over 3 weeks to see who can go further, faster and higher across not one, but 3 arenas all offering their own unique racing experience and competition

Competition and resulting is by arena, split by gender, across up to 10 athlete vELO classes proving everyone, everywhere, with whatever you use – an opportunity to compete your way

The newest arena will be showcasing their capabilities given their Velodrome, time challenge format and custom route designing - IOS will be openly released 1st July

With the UCI World Championships in October the arena is rolling out more content every month. New Worlds - Routes - Challenges

The most established arena with the most Worlds and Routes to select. The events will use the road, gravel and running features in open racing events

The Basics

Each arena will have scheduled open events where riders will be grouped together based on their power profiles and gender

Ideally YES if you want to be included in Games results and medal tables but you can always just join the events – your choice

Registration requires you to have an FRR account created use the My Account button on the Home page to get the process started – it won’t take long – but remember to check your ‘junk email’ box as welcome emails can be initially rejected

YES there is no restriction on the number of times you can enter an event to improve your position.

All events are arena specific and resulted by arena

YES if you want to compete in the events hosted on all of the arenas

IndieVELO and myWhoosh are free to join, Zwift requires an active paid subscription.

Each arena event will be resulted separately – results are not cross arena

Each arena event may offer multiple times throughout the games, results will be combined within arena and ordered by time (least) or distance (most) depending on the event

Leaderboards and Medal tables will bring together all results of the Games into one place to enable competitors to compare and contrast their performance
